We use research-based strategies to provide instruction that is tailored to the needs of each student. The programs we use include:
Lindamood-Bell's Visualizing and Verbalizing® Program enables students to create detailed mental images of words and ideas. This dramatically improves their listening comprehension, reading comprehension, critical thinking, and expressive language skills.
The Orton-Gillingham approach is a multi-sensory phonics-based system. It enables students to master phonics concepts systematically and sequentially, utilizing visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning modalities.
Lindamood-Bell's On Cloud Nine® Math: A Visualizing and Verbalizing® Math Program successfully stimulates the ability to image and verbalize the concepts underlying math processes. Concept and numeral imagery are integrated with language and applied to mathematical computation, mathematical reasoning and problem solving.
